One that happened to follow me home yesterday...

yesterday we ran out for potting supplies, and like usual, something had to follow us home. Steve got his little ornithocephalus (spelling?) species, and I found a paph. superbiens v. curtisii that I -had- to have. It's a species I didn't have, and I've wanted one for a while. There were a bunch in bloom, and I had to have this one. The leaves are stunning too: nice, broad and vividly patterned.

My husband still isn't thrilled about it, and doesn't like it. I'm still being informed how ugly it is. Oh well, it's staying.

Nah. I don't think it would be very easy to track down another orchid loving spouse. We have different taste in orchids, but at least we both love them.

That, and, well... he built the greenhouse, so he's pretty darned handy to have around!
