Not besseae?

I bought this as an besseae but its probably not.

Magicboy think it is a Saint Ouen.
What do you think?

Hmmmm, could be a flavum x semi-flavum besseae, a Plemont, a Prissy, or a St. Ouen. I'll have to look up stuff.

So far the only Phrag Plemont [dalessandroi x schlimii] supplies I've seen come from EYOF sources. If you bought it from someone with those connections it could be, but I thiink it would be a more orange shade. [theres a photo at thomas river orchids from S.A.] Otherwise I believe that it's a Hanne Popow.

How big is the flower? St. Ouen tends to be smaller than Hanne Popow.

Its 7 cm wide
Height is about 6 cm.

That's almost 2.8 inches, pretty big for either St. Ouen or Hanne Popow. Or besseae. It's about the size and shape of my Beauport, but the color is different.

A flower fall of today and I mesured more exactly.

6,3 cm wide.
5,2 cm high.
