Hope the Northeastern U.S. growers are hanging in there. We're experiencing what they're calling a "once-in-a-generation freeze". It's currently -5F/-20C with wind gusts up to 43mph/69kph making it feel like -24F/-31C with the temperatures predicted to drop significantly overnight. Some areas are expected to hit -50F/-45C with the wind chills making it feel even colder. I grow on windowsills in an old building, so I've been moving more heat loving/budded plants away from the glass since it's getting quite cool close to the panes. Have those with greenhouses been moving plants indoors, or are they insulated enough to withstand these temperatures?
