Sw New Mexico has had some rain over the last few months so many wildflowers have been flowering. I was there a few weeks ago. Many yellow/orange flowers!

It’s been raining a bit so the ditches are damp, so lots of flowers are up. At work we have a purple and yellow aster but it’s quite tall. These weren’t very tall and I’m not really familiar with what flowers there other than yucca and a few others. I recognize some of the yellow and orange as tickseed relatives.
The peppers and pecans all get irrigated or they would dry up and blow away in the somewhat frequent windstorms.
