Here is yet one more Neofinetia falcata. This is known as variety tamakongo.
One of the 'bean leaf' group, the flowers are relatively small, with a short spur. Grown outdoor year-round in San Jose, California.

I love the shape of this one. I have nine flowers opening currently.

Planning on bringing it back to work next week so that the folks who witnessed its arrival will be able to appreciate its true beauty. The best smelling one I have so far!

Very nice. I have recently acquired one of these little cuties ... it seemed like a "must have" for my little collection.
BTW is that apparent transverse baring on some of the leaves a trick of the light or do you have some variegation developing?
Thanks for showing.

Tim,
No variegation, it's the shadecloth.
NYEric,
I'll bring it up with my therapist.

Thanks for the comments.
