Ok well these photos are still premature there's 4 other spikes that are still forming. It took approximately 23 days

I love the color and it smells great too!

papheteer, i could be horribly mistaken but i'm pretty sure theyre just all variations and theres only one species. If anyone else can put in their 2 cents that would be great
 
Very nice photos. Jason Fischer had an article in Orchid Digest that nicely broke down the varieties and variegations of this species. Very desirable plants plants to have.
