Hi All,

My wife and I recently took a vacation to Costa Rica and I managed to spot a grand total of 1 blooming orchid in the wild (although I saw plenty not in bloom). This one was in the cloud forests of Monteverde in the mountains around 5,000 feet. It was growing as an epiphyte about 50 meters off the ground (we were on a suspension bridge in the canopy). I'd estimate the plant height at about 2-3 feet. Unfortunately I couldn't get a close-up of the blooms as the plant was about 20 feet from the bridge and my zoom lens could only do so much. Since I don't know anything about non-slipper orchids, I was hoping someone on here might be able to point me in the right direction. Even an idea of the genus would be helpful.
