Something to look forward to in the spring.

Not the best angle since the flowers are facing in all directions, but here it is.
This plant blooms better each year and this is the best so far with 12 & 9 flowers on two spikes.
The fragrance is strong during the early part of the day. A mix of sweet citrus plus clove, I'd say.

Beautiful flower and I love the pendent display. The fragrance sounds delightful, too. Is Nagoran the genus name, species name or is this a hybrid? The foliage (from what I can see of it) looks somewhat like Phalaenopsis.

Nagoran is how this plant is called in Japan. The genus name is now Phalaenopsis.
It was Sedirea japonica before.

Yes try it again! I think it is small enough plant with great fragrance which is worth the space in the collection.
