Since I started getting back into the Vandaceous plants and showing pics of the purchases, I thought I would update by showing how they are settling into their new home.
Ron, they all look very healthy and disciplined ( no roots entering into the media of the neighbors and so on) at present : the one on the left is hookeriana, teres or hybrid? Jean
They look great, Roy. Some look to be blooming size but how long before you expect blooms from the seedlings?
I bought some vanda seedlings with some of the roots too long to put into a regular pot. I put them into mesh baskets with just a little lava rock and spag to hole them in place. So far they look OK.
Heather, I'd like to do the hanging bit in the baskets but for me, in pots with a very coarse bark works well and you don't break the roots when transporting to meetings or shows.
