I live about 2 hours from Madison & I found myself going up there to buy an individual's slippers that he no longer wanted. I checked directions on mapquest & then thought, how far is Ackers, I've never been there.
OMG - 15 minutes down the road! SIDETRIP! DETOUR!
I'm not a fan of white phals, they're kinda common as far as I'm concerned until one sees ones like this-
there were 8-10 flowers that were as big as my hand! The bigger one in front is Yu Pin Bowhead.
A nice deep golden yellow - Brother Golden Wish 'Pine Ridge'

Bulbo/Cirr. Elizabeth Ann 'Buckleberry' - so impressive, the flowers were bigger than the plant!
