Not the best blooming of this old, old (80 years old? more? I've had it over 40 years and it was a division of a very old plant then) Sedenii, but blooming next to it's offspring hybrid, Cardinale (Sedenii x schlimii) makes a lovely sight!

I have a Sedenii that's quite possibly as old as this one and I adore it... reliable bloomer and always beautiful. The little
feller ain't bad either. Mine is on its third bloom now and shows no signs of tiring. Ain't it grand???? Hey, branching too.

Somehow this ended up in Paphiopedilum, when I backpaged to phragmipedium after another post, it must have gone too far. I am apparently unable to delete it, moderator can you please delete for me? I will re-post to phragmipedium.
