Mormodes warscewiczii?

Bought it as mormodes rolfeana, which it's not. So possibly it was mislabeled, like my mormodes andicola was... So the one that was labeled andicola was rolfeana, the one labeled rolfeana is warscewiczii, and the one labeled warscewiczii is in low spike, so we'll see if the chain of switched tags goes full circle. If not, the variabilis that came with the same shipment could be thrown in there somewhere too :confused:

Isn't warscewiczii orange with lots of brownish spots?

There is a ton of variation in warscewiczii depending on what province they come from. I've seen purple, pink, brown, red, stripes, spots, solids... This variety used to be called wolterianum and hails from Peru, which makes sense since I got it from Alfredo Manrique. Wolterianum has been lumped in as a syn. of warscewiczii
