I love them! Very different from what I might have expected for that cross. It's good that most of them have such well formed flowers, with the parents not being closely related.

Oh there's definitely the odd crippled bloom, but most are at least decent enough that the cuteness factor overpowers any form deficiency.

Another nice one bloomed, this is the smallest one at 7.5cm NS, but with very nice color. (The plant actually is a funky yellowish green like the pic shows.) thai x suk 4.jpg thai x suk 4-2.jpg

Very interesting that the reciprocal's difference in shape of the flowers (most notably the petals), carries through consistently on both. I like both shapes, but have a fondness for the rounded petals on yours.

I have bloomed (thaianum X vietnamense) and just got flasks of the reciprocal back from the lab. I am looking forward to comparing them as well.
