Mint Chocolate

The cross is leucochilum x malipoense.
The first photo shows when it bloomed for the first time last year.
The second one is what it looks like now. I’m glad I didn’t give up on the plant
Now, hopefully on its next bloom, the pouch will be better.
The flower color is very off on my computer screen although they look fine on my phone screen.
It is beautiful light green in person.

True, but less obvious even if there were some minor breaks compared to very dark red flowers like Kevin Porter or Dick Wagner.
I hope the pouch will settle more on its next bloom.

I just put pollen from W. Favourite on this flower.
They are both large flowers and I hope to get some nice light yellow flowers with netting pattern much like W. Favourite on beautifully patterned leaves. Wish me luck!!
