Perfect! Paphiopedilum niveum fma. nanum.*
I wish all species were that size, I don't have a lot of space for my plants.

*not a recognized fma. Taxonomists, please don't kill me. ;)

It's cute!

Do you plant all your Paphs in clay pots, poozcard?

I am keen on having air ventilation in compost.
Claypot with holes suits my believe well. hehe, so far they are fine.

:rollhappy::rollhappy:

Now I am trying something like this and put the pot on a shallow dish with 1cm water film all the time.
Thinking about sth like semi-semi-hydro.

Thanks for naming it although I have no idea what is the meaning :rollhappy::rollhappy::rollhappy:

There are not many Thai paph growers collecting small size plant. Most of them are focusing in only big flower.

What if I make a self cross of it, is anybody interested? Raise your hands :evil:

2nd bud is coming. maybe I should make some weird hybrid cross with 2nd flower.

I don't want to be annoying but I am not sure it's a small niveum, niveum is quite small, but ang thong is bigger. What the experts think?
I really like this brachy :)

In Cribb the range of flower diameter is listed 6-8 cm
Inflorescent height from 6-25 cm long (a variability of 4X).

Unless Poozcard has very small hands, it looks like the stem height is about 15cm, flower might be about 5 cm

Who knows if the general species description in Cribb covers populations the dwarf plants anyway??

If this is a consistent trait I'd think it be worth selfing.

I am agree, I just based my hypothesis on my niveum, which is small too!!
