I shoved it in the refrigerator every night for 2 months.

Ah! I used to leave mine outside in pretty cold temps here in Sacramento. Nice looking plant! Need another one of these but haven’t pulled the trigger yet.

A bit lean on spikes this year, probably from last Fall's nonsense, but there are around 30 new leads... I have no idea what to do with this thing...

holly *@~!#@. That is amazing. You really need to rename yourself as lord of the Mexipediums.
I have a smaller one and it just started to branch out. It has not bloomed. How much light do you give it? Also do you still stick it in the fridge to bloom ?

I no longer refrigerate it to bloom it, since it no longer fits. Instead, I put it in my bedroom with the Ophrys, throw on a few extra blankets, and leave the windows cracked all winter .
It gets quite a lot of light & heat for most of the year; they can take almost full sun if you acclimate them to it.

Do you plan to divide it once it fills the 22 inch tray? Or go even bigger?
