Maxillaria uncata (mini)

A relatively new plant for me.....

This piece is in a 2.5 inch pot, so it is a mini. Every time I water, I rot off some roots - I really have trouble with maxillarias in general. Anyway, I have another piece mounted upside down on tree fern to counter the rot, but that piece isn't blooming. I'm sure it'd rather be growing upwards too, but oh well..... better alive than not.
