Saratoga Region, New York
A species from Colombia, Ecuador and Venezuela. First bloom for me on this one. Nicely fragrant, flower about 4.5" petal span. The reverse of the flower has stronger color than the front which is unusual for most flowers.

Jean, how much light are you giving yours? I tend to give my Maxillaria more light than what is recommended. More so in the winter than in the hot months.
 
Ron, here a pict. of my plant from last year. I give it as much light as for my Laelias (not just as much as for catts), I even have sun burn on leaves from time to time: Maybe I should repot it! :) Jean
