Maxillaria minuta

This is a mini Maxillaria from SE Brazil. The p-bulbs are about 1/2" and the single apical leaf is about 3/4 of an inch. The flowers are about 5mm. I have it mounted on a cork slab. I will call it a reliable late winter bloomer for I checked and noted I had posted pics of it last year on March 8th. I detected a light fragrance.

Dot, I originally purchased this from J&L Orchids. It takes up a lot less room than many of my Maxillaria Species.

Peter, yes with a bit of a moss pad covering the roots that were in the pot.

Looks great Ron. I'm having trouble w/ one of my 2 maxi's. Maybe I'll try mounting it on cork.

which one Eric?? I only have this one and uncata mounted, all the rest are in pots some with Sphag. There are not too many that I would consider mounting. This one just looked like it would do fine on a cork mount based on plant structure. It has been on the mount for about a year now and obviously looks like it likes it.
