This is my largest and by far the stickiest Masdie I own. (ERIC) This thing really stinks!!! It is sort of a blend between soiled diapers and wet tennis shoes. If anyone else has one I would like to compare blooms. My flowers don't seen to flex very much.

thanks. Sorry for the UGLY undersides of the leaves. The plant was left where the sun came through the window when I was out of town. Thankfully it drops them all each year.

That's exactly what I was thinking -growth habit and stink of a bulbo! Ha ha ha
I would own one, except for the smell!

You have something different there. Closely related, but I based on the habit, I don't think it is fractiflexa. Or colosus for that matter. Maybe hystrix. You'll have to check out the lip.

It is also blooming a bit out of season. But that said I have a fractiflexa in spike, now.

Here is a picture of a fractiflexa and a colossus.
