Lc. Canhamiana

Lc. Canhamiana (C. mossiae x L. purpurata) is an old-timer made by Veitch in 1885. Between 1988-2002, this cross received 15 AOS awards, 13 of which for flower quality. Wildcatt lists 135 crosses with this beautiful hybrid as a parent. In recent years, the blue variety has been very popular.

I just saw Lc. Canhamiana 'Azure Skies' a few weeks ago and fell in love. I haven't seen the purple variety you have here in person, but it looks wonderful. Thanks for the history too, I had no idea.
