Well, the dog days of summer are definitely here; Temps in the 90's day after day, and humidiy to match! To celebrate this warmer than normal weather,(lets face it, things could be worse) we've decided to begin our August Plant Sale two weeks early this year.

Consequently, all of the Slipper Orchid species and hybrids listed on either the Fox Valley Orchids website(www.foxvalleyorchids.com) or the Orchids By Hausermann website (www.orchidsbyhausermann.com) begining with the "FV" prefix will be reduced in price by 20% beginning Sunday, July 18, 2010, and continuing through Sunday, August 15, 2010. As always, packing and shipping will continue to be billed at cost and the discounted plant prices will be applied at final checkout. This is the first year we are including the "Fox Valley Online Specials" in the sale, so it's an opportunity to get a few nice things at lower than ever prices.

Just a note to let you all know that we will be adding Phrag. longifolium fma album and Phrag. vittatum selfings to the "Online Specials" section of the www.foxvalleyorchids.com website this morning (See photos). Although quantities are limited, this is a great opportunity to acquire two of the rarest Phrag. species in cultivation during our 20% Off Summer Sale. We sold out of the initial offering of both species seedlings very quickly, so here's your chance if you missed out.
