Bought this one in around Feb this year. Wasn't really expecting a spike this year but happy surprise. This is one of my phrags I started growing normally and not in S/H which I'm gradually phasing out (with good results I think).

Looks great! Were you not getting good results in S/H?

Yes and no. Most plants seemed pretty happy but a few (in particular besseae species) seemed to brown the occasional leaf end which then grew down the leaf and looked pretty unsightly. Since moving them out of S/H and continuing to water every other day, their growth has been good and the browning has completely stopped. I still have a few phrags in S/H but as soon as they've finished flowering, they'll be over over and repotted into the tall rose-type pots I've started using.
