This cutie is blooming in our college greenhouse this week. I had been waiting for it to bloom to properly identify it. It appears to be Dendrobium loddigesii. Unfortunately it hasn't been receiving proper culture, do to not knowing which species it is, but it decided to grace us with a few flowers anyway! Now, I need to find one of my own because I think this little one is fabulous.

This is one of those dendrobium species that keikis like crazy. Usually you can find them in small (or large) piles on the raffle table at your orchid society meeting.

I bought a keiki for $3 They can be cheap, maybe that plant will donate a keiki for you? That plant has good shaped blooms
