Thanks for asking! I was about to start a new thread ....... "and what have you blasted recently?!"
:sob: it was taking it's dear sweet time, 3 days ago it started to get a yellow cast, yesterday (Sun.) both buds had a brown spot on them. So much for my first roth cross! I now leave it in the capable hands of Ron, I know he has one too & he's so good at blooming anything!

Well, shoot! I believe sangii may be prone to blasting more than other species, and maybe it just needed to grow up a little more anyway.

It is a multigrowth plant, so maybe I won't have to wait a year. Tom told me summer was typical but one sees roths in bloom at different times of the year & I saw sangii in bloom at shows this spring, so who knows - time will tell!
