Another one of those compact and colourful species from the limestone areas in Northen Vietnam.

This is a seedling from Asendorfer Orchideen. There are larger ones around, but I'm quite pleased with the colour.

The colour has been stable for about four weeks now on the older flower. Flower diameter is about 7 cm on a plant of the same stature as coccineum.
