Hello,
My name is Richard, been growing orchids on and off since I was a kid. Grown most but my love has always been for Paphs especially Parvis!
My collection now consists of Paph micranthum only! Some people may think that I am mad to just grow this species but I am totally addicted to this species! There are so many varieties and clones of this amazing species that it therefore provides me with an abundance of very different flowers and vegetation.
Paph micranthum can be a pain to flower; I have some plants that have never flowered and some that flower every year.
To guarantee seeing this amazing species in flower year after year you need a hell of lot of this species to guarantee this!
My aim is one day to breed a micranthum with selective crossing that will produce a fast growing plant that will reliably flower year after year!
Once I have achieved this I may then move on to another Parvi that comes very close to my love for micranthum.
armeniacum!
I look forward to talking to you all in this forum.
Richard
