In May 2015 I got only ten seedlings back from the lab. The first one flowered last March. I was quite lucky with the result. I registered this hybrid at RHS as Paphiopedilum Duccio di Buoninsegna. I called this clone 'Fuga in Egitto':

But last autumn this flower from another seedling of this cross impressed me, P. Duccio di Buoninsegna 'Temptation on the Mountain':

Then in December yet another one opened its bloom and is now my favorite one of this hybrid, P. Duccio di Buoninsegna 'Agony in the Garden':

All very cute and presumably tea cup sized?
Pity there were not more. I am sure they would be quick commercial sellers.
I prefer the second one because of the petal stance,

Yes, they are all tea cup Paphs with massive flowers. Flowers are about half the size of the plant.
All flowers are about 10 cm NS and the span of the leaves is about 20 cm.

I'd have a hard time deciding between the first and second one. So, it's a tie as to which is my favorite. Very cool things. I love that there's a lot more mini/compact breeding going on these days.
