Very cool. I miss seeing these guys. All the Planenthera/Habenaria in Japan are, well, boring. Isn't it funny how cemeteries are great places to botanize? In the tall grass prairie states I've heard this is were many rarities continue on because the sod was never broken. Same thing with railroad right of ways. Thanks for the shot!
 
The cemetary as been around since the late 1700's. A 20 square meter parcel contains the plants and is roped off. I hope to get back with a better camera and a tri-pod.
