Grow room

Here is my orchid grow room. Hubby built it for me in our unfinished basement. I took quite a few plants outside for the summer yesterday but it still looks so full. A few of these are going to find new homes...it gets overwhelming to care for this many in such a small space.

How do you water all of them? I certainly hope you've got a hose.

I water with a submersible pump and hose. With this many plants using the hand pump wasn't enough. The big trays are watered in place (they have drainage buckets below) and the small trays are taken to the laundry tub and watered over a wire shelf that hubby cut to size so it fit perfectly over the top. I fertilize with the hand pump twice a month using foliar feeding.

There is a big humidifier under the table on the left and two fans that run 24/7. I've been using this setup for two years now and it works just great....a mini greenhouse. If anyone has questions about it, just ask away.
