Spring is here!

I've been mulling over getting some calanthe for the garden. Do snails terrorize them like other plants?

Very cool, especially the Cyps! What are the ferns?

This is Arachniodes standishii. Easy in the garden but difficult to source in the states, I would guess.

Candace, I have legions of slugs here so the only option is snail/slug bait, otherwise no garden, just bare soil. I know this for a fact since the first year I tried gardening I didn't use any and EVERYTHING was eaten to a nub!

We get a ton of snails too. Their favorite plants tend to be our daylilies. Since they grow like weeds here, that's no biggie. But, thanks for the info. if I get any calanthe...bait it is!

Thanx. That's for after I complete my besseae/hybrid, parvi paph, jewel orchid, cyp, pleuro, fragrant germanium, Sinningia list! :rollhappy:
