I want them large enough for individual pots AND repot at the start of the growing season - mid spring here in Oz.

Didnt I answer the same? Somthing obviously went wrong with my internet connection. But as indicated, just what I do. Potting time is dependent on size mostly.
 
You got one from OI (tigrinum)? If so, good luck and keep it sterile or sprayed like Roth advise. Much can be gained by the right conditions, I feel that in my case it might partly have been due to wrong pH and partly because of that unfortunate infection (guss its phytophora).


Yes, giving them strong air circulation in a mix of moss/perlite in 4-5 inch pot.

Please keep us updated, even if you fail. My experience has told me that perhaps more info lies in the failures than in the sucesses. So please under any circumstance keep us posted:)
