Today I went out and visited Tom at his new location at the greenhouse in his back yard. I made a panoramic picture from the front door, so you all can get an idea of how much smaller it is versus his old location at Hausermanns'.

I'd like to further comment that the lowii album is incredible! The yellow is so much more YELLOW in this photo as compared to the one on this page: http://http://www.slippertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=23733&page=2 Is that because of lighting/different cameras; or, has the flower actually deepened it's colour? I'm LOVING the deeper yellow colour!!!!!!!! I hope that it's true.

Thanks Nick,

It was a great visit! Although we're now an internet-only slipper orchid vendor and not open to the public because of residential restrictions, special customers like Nick will always be welcome to visit and share a cup of home-brewed Starbuck's coffee. I think the color of that lowii fma album appearing more yellow as it ages is probably due to lower lighting conditions during Nick's visit. Hope it's still in bloom for the Madison show in two weeks:wink:

Thanks!
