Few slippers at recent show

Most of these are owned by a couple residing in Cameron Highlands. Some of the Maudiae-types look like recent imports from Taiwan (there's cotton wool stuck to the flowers). lol.

One of the grand champions, specimen Vanguard, 2 spikes, 4 flowers to each spike.

And a hybrid I find interesting. Mislabelled as dianthum on the label, but obviously a spicerianum x parishii/dianthum cross. Had 2 flowers on a spike.

The third pic is very similar to my Keylime 'Big Silver Moon' x Keylime 'Silver Platter' but so many of these crosses are almost identical.

Shah Alam ASEAN-themed show, held at shah alam lake garden. I think there were more entries in this show because the orchid competition for the upcoming FLORIA Putrajaya show has been cancelled.

I find the spicerianum cross very appealing. I wouldn't mind having something like that myself. I'm going to have to go back to some of my old photos on film to compare to the Vanguard. Very nice!
