Epidendrum rostatum

Epi. rostatum is from the high jungle of Peru. I had posted it before, for ID but didn't know that what I posted was not the flower. It is a pendant species, alternate leaves that are about 4.5" long, purplish in color. It will root along it's stem. It is a sequential bloomer. The flower is about 2.5 cm x 3 cm. This flower is past it's prime but you can see some of the fimbriation on the lateral aspect of the labellum. There is a pic of the buds as well.
