formerly Dendrobium rigidum. It is low land Australian and New Guinea species that is tolerant of high light. It has a short inflorescense, about 5 cm long with 2-7 flowers that are 1.5 cm in diameter. I have it growing on bark but have grown it in a small pot of fast draining media.

Ron, you may be happy to know that " Dockrillia " has been removed from the orchid world in Aust' as far as Aussie natives go. They are now Dendrobium again. The so called experts have finally come to their senses.
So you can change your label back.
