Seen growing as an epiphyte near Tengchong, Yunnan (subtropical area), China. Any ideas?

It is quite difficult to establish that one, and if getting wild plants ( most of the wardianum in the trade), the canes should be kept pendent, otherwise they start to rot and die. That's a species that can have 2m+ canes for some of them ( though I have several selected ones, that inviariably were 30-50 cm tall plants). It must not be ordered unless the new growth is showing some root starts ( right now), otherwise it is a total failure as well.definitely...been on my wish list for some time too
I agree!!!Dendrobium wardianum, pretty common around Yunnan and north Viet Nam.
