Interesting little species I was given as a division from someone's giant clump a few years ago. This is the first bloom I've gotten, the flower is about 1 cm wide and 1.5 cm long with a faint fragrance of honey and musk in the morning. Several sources say the flowers only last a few days, but these pictures were taken about two weeks ago and it's still going as of this morning. Doesn't look much like the IOSPE photos (which don't seem to gibe with the accompanying description), but does match the photo and description in Lavarack's book.

Thanks all! Dot, the plant is pretty small, individual growths are 8" or less so far and the habit is clumping. I think it'll eventually develop aerial growths that will make the habit less tidy.
