Probably the best flowering ever. This plant was found growing on rocks not a tree. It consisted of about 5 canes back then. The root system was completely flat and shallow clearly showing it's former lithophytic existence. It definitely has shorter canes than the normal form. About half as long or shorter. Growing in a tree fern pot which it has almost completely swallowed.

Yes way south. They take all weather including rain all winter but some years the frost can bite the flowers but the plant is unaffected.
