I bought this as den. farmeri album and it's obviously NOT an album, but light pink This is its first blooming for me on 3 spikes. It's growing hanging up high in my g.h. and is in semi hydro.

Lovely.... Do you start watering after watching that new growth has begun? or you are familiar of flowering period and start watering some weeks before? What initiates flowering? Thank you...

Oooo, I think that's still a pretty one, though. Look at those delicate little pink flowers...

I water throughout the winter since I grow in semi hydro. I don't keep them as wet in the winter and sometimes will let the resevoir run dry for a bit. But I cut off the fertilizer on my dendrobiums almost completely in winter.
