Delenatii tipo

In bloom.It is delenatii season, another tipo and album are just opening.

What makes it 'tipo'? It looks like just another very nice delenatii to me. I'm not saying this in a negative way, just looking for the explanation of tipo.

In my mind there are 4 fundamental color form of this sp., vinicolor( cherry red ), album, semialbum( only puoch is pink, others are white), and tipo( regular form, like this)

Tipo is Latin for 'type'; as in 'type' species. The originally describes species/colour form (I believe).

I don't get semialba nor have I heard of it before. Pink pouch with white petals pretty much is what the standard form looks like.

I believe that the semi-alba also has a white staminode. Ive seen a photo but I don't remember where.

Great flower with excellent proportion .....but no need to name it 'tipo' (at least in my eyes).
