Hello, anyone have a Cyrtopodium in bloom? I am interested in doing an experiment. Phylogenetically, Ansellia are their closest relative and I have one in bloom.

If your only goal is to see if the two genera will breed, let me save you some trouble: it's been done before, they're called Cyrtellias. Now, if you also happen to want Cyrtellias, then by all means, proceed lol.
Wow... You learn something new everyday. I was aware of hybrids with Cymbidium which were underwhelming but Cyrtellia Orglade's Dreamer is pretty cool. If anyone has pollen I would like to try this experiment again... But with a different species... Cyrt. andersonii was used for that hybrid.
