I was told that my paphiopedilum dianthum probably had this problem and it was a Paph killer! I treated it with Dragon’s blood a week ago ad the base of the leaves are dry. Will it help to remove those leaves And repot the plant? Or is it hopeless to save the plant?

Thank you. I removed two of the leaves, may have to take off the third. Originally thought I could leave it, but there are dead bits on it too. I may have gotten carried away when I first treated. I really slathered on the DB. I also have the cinnamon leaf oil on hand, if that might be better To use.

I have loosely wrapped the bare roots in a damp paper towel. Tomorrow when I can get to my supplies, I’ll wrap roots in damp sphag moss.
