A brightly colored terrestrial that was described in 2007. This year I am trying a few new genera that I had not had the space for in the past.

Nice! Where did you get this from? Do you know is this is a keep wet or dry during dormancy. I got my first cynorkis, a division, last fall. The leaf fell off, but a new growth is starting.

Nice, Chad. Actually after 2007, Hermans realized that this is actually Cynorkis angustipetala, so C. guttata is a synonym now. Some info here:

It is from Clint at Orchid Dynasty and I believe it needs a very dry dormacy but it will be a learning experience for me. Same with the new Cycnoches. I have always liked other diverse genera but not until lately have I actually been buying some to try.
