I recently received this species as a division. Last week, I noticed a spike forming and it is amazing how fast it has grown.

i have a very similar species... cym finlaysonianum. i suppose their culture is pretty much the same... with lots of water, fertiliser and sunlight, these can grow into very massive clumps and produce many spikes when their blooming season arrives.... i have to tear my plant apart every 2 years or so, if not it becomes too large to manage...
