Hi All,

I received from a friend a seedling from Ratcliffe : Silvara x Small World but never see a pic of this flower.

What do you think of the cross, could it be interesting to grow ?

If you don't want it, I'll take it

I'd expect a pink or pastel flower of decent shape for the colour, with a finely spotted dorsal.
Maybe not as large or not as round as some others. Not sure how Silvara inherits petal width.

Thanks Labskaus,

it is good to have complex paph addict point of view (I'm too). It is not a big plant, 2 growths 12-15 cm wide but is growing well.

COuld I expect this :

If you could expect that in the photo, I'd buy every plant they had.
BUT, it is a possibilty. Don't hold you breath. Good cross anyway.

the pic is a skip bartlett hybrid. I post it for the spots in the flower.
I will have Chardmore MS Cowburn in flower and some complex white. Do you think it is worth trying to cross this plant with white (White Knight, Susan Tucker, White Queen etc...)?
