Coelogyne cristata

I wish I had room for a Coelogyne species collection for I think there are so many very nice species. Alas, I don't have the room so for now I only have 4 species. This species is an easy first one for beginners for it can take quite a bit of abuse and still grow into a specimen. Pretty. This one tends to bloom with lots of spikes, doesn't it?

the plant is still small, in a 4" pot..three spikes this year.
