I will be undergoing shoulder surgery this coming Thursday, August 13, and that will prevent me from packing or lifting boxes for an indefinite time period.

I'll try to get "back at it" as soon as I can (I am married to a physical therapist, so that ought to help), but if there is anything you may need, please consider ordering before then.

I had shoulder surgery some years ago. I had a machine that pumped ice water up around the shoulder. Helped a lot! Good luck with your surgery.

I wish we could find a KelpMax equivalent to use topically on Ray's shoulder.

Sis just had shoulder surgery last month. Coming along fine. Not to scare you - it is the most painful of the joints to have worked on. Get your medication lined up now (and muscle relaxants can be better than pain killers sometimes). BUT it is the most rewarding when you get the use back and all the old pain (and new) dissipates! (Dad had his done at 76 and once healed he could heft his 265 pounds up into his crane truck again with ease and a great deal of pleasure.)

Put lots of bags of frozen peas in your freezer - they make the best ice packs. Get yourself one of those pillows that have the long 'crease' in the middle - they can be scrunched up the easiest for support.

Keep us updated on your progress!

    Good luck with it.

I'm free except on Tuesday, if you need a hand.

    Good luck Ray!

Had my shoulder done twice but all is well now. Recovery time to lifting 'heavy' boxes could take some time. Your end result should be well worth the aggravation of surgery especially since you have in house PT.
