Hmm. Shouldn't it better read 'thank god for the "free" internet.?

No, a free internet is more reality than a god.

?? A god is a fictional character, like Heinrich Faust. Not real, so freedom does not apply.
Internet is a business. Real (though virtual), and freedom is an issue.

    Sorry I cannot confirm.
By discussing this thread I learned a lot and changed my mind.
Before this thread I thought the man-made-climate-change-freaks would be much more rational.

What I have learned, perusing this thread, is that there are a lot of people who are seemingly intelligent, but they are so inflexible that they won't even consider the opinions of others, and even though there is no possible way anyone can have sufficient perspective to actually "know" for certain what they're discussing, are so convinced they they are right, that they show themselves to be moronic a-holes.

A passage from a 2006 report from the UK ''Institute for Public Policy Research'' The first line is really enough....

2011 Brisbane flood blamed on global warming. Everyone just takes it for granted that it is true.

Climate Conference in Bonn has finished.

A great success, 25 countries with nearly no coal electrical power plants decided to stop electrical power generation based on coal.

I can give recommendation to Jerry Brown: Don't travel to Bonn but improve general supply of water in California and increase safety in case of volcanic eruption of Yellowstone national park.

Yellowstone National Park is a national park located in the U.S. states of Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho. Not California.

Yes, Dot, Your are right of course.
So You must send a list of these problems to Washington.
With a military budget of more than 700 billion US$ Your country should be able to solve such problems, especially the water supply in California.
    It is ridicules.

You don't have to worry about volcanos because methane released from the Arctic will lead to human extinction in about 8 years. :sob:

Oh, I see. Now I understand Jehovah's Witness, what they mean when they predict doomsday.

So we have 8 more years. Now I can calculate how much of my fortune I can blow per year. That's fine.

Here is the latest satellite data.
I have since discovered that surface data is complete and utter unreliable crap and should be completely disregarded.
Only satellite and balloon data is to be taken seriously and they are basically the same. Any modelling is also total bullshit and deserves to all be shredded and the people who do it should be sacked immediately before we spend any more of the $100,000,000,000 already spent on this.

Here is what people like BB and his IPCC friends like to do

But look, no rise from '79 to '97 then the big EN in '98, then it settles at 0.2 above ''average'' from 2000 to 2016. Science says we need to classify ''climate'' as average weather for 30 years. (this is also ridiculously too short but anyway...) Therefore there has been 0.0 degrees warming of the climate this century. The weather is a little bit warmer lately. That's all we can say.

USA can expect the coldest winter since a lot of years. :)

The Amerindians started collecting firewood already very early in this year.

    Not over here.
Spain has had the warmest autumn since long and - this is far worst - the driest, too.
A few cold nights don't make a winter.

Yes, but Mariano Rajoy is not in power for ever.
