The earth will continue to warm until it is uninhabitable...the warming isn't going to stop.
Your peaches will cook, as will you and everyone you love.
Maybe nuclear war will happen first though.
So you will be microwaved instead of boiled.
As civilization dissolves into chaos, humans will begin tearing each other apart for food and water.
So there's the possibility you will be murdered by desperate humans.
    Or you might just starve.
Either way, enjoy your peaches now, because they won't be around for much longer.

It's not just heating up, the weather patterns are changing, warmer places are now colder, drier climate spots are seiing more rain, vice versa, ocean currents are changing, that dictates our weather

Oh, come on! Don't you all know that this climate change thing is all a Chinese conspiracy?

    ...

Actually, I wonder why Trump picked on the Chinese for this "theory." I'm surprised he didn't blame the liberals and Obama.

The climate change has nothing to do with trump, it's our primitive human species, destroying our planet, it's been happening for quite some time, I'm tired of hearing everything is trumps fault, grow up

I don't care about trump, our planetary issues need to be dealt with, some time ago the discovery channel sponsored a hydro blast gold mine the rainforest a full season.... what is more valuable...

You miss my point Troy. While the climate is changing and all the effects are going to affect the human race, in addition to destroying everything beautiful on this planet, the climate deniers have their hero in our President, who is apparently interested only in keeping himself and his cronies in their wealth.

I grew up long before you did.

Dot, I'm just pointing out that insulting our president, doesn't change anything, going after entities like discovery channel for decimating rain forest can make a difference and educating people about slash and burn rainforest to raise cows for mc donalds.... cows in the middle of a rainforest..... easy prey.... to jaguars, lions predatory cats going extinct..... why? Cows can be raised anywhere

Troy, what are you talking about?
You are sometimes a bit odd.
She just quoted what Trump said about the climate change. Then, joked. That's it. She's not blaming ( ok, maybe but he is to blame as he along with his team are global warming deniers and want to make policies that will only make things worse) nor insulting anyone.
    Now back to the subject.

I don't understand what you say about discovery channel being responsible for rainforest destruction.
The next one, clearing out jungle, isn't it more about government corruption and corporate greed rather than about educating people? I believe those people just want to survive by getting any job they can find. Educating them I doubt will make any difference. You have to remove the main source for the problem.
It's sad what's happening now that you brought up that topic.

By the way, while human activities might be accelerating the warming, this planet has gone through warmer period and colder period, isn't it a fact?

There are many positive changes that are in place.
Huge pollutors like China, India and USA need to switch to "clean" energy.
I wonder how much that will actually help.

A bit harsh, as well as inaccurate. About 24% of US citizens are too young to vote. Nearly 9% are convicted felons that are not allowed to vote. About 45% of eligible voters did not vote. 46% of those who did vote voted for Trump.

About 17% of US citizens voted for Trump. Those who did not vote or voted for 3rd party candidates bear some responsibility, but still far from the majority of US citizens.

That is fairly accurate, Berthold. I think it's actually a little over 30% who are die-hard supporters. The sad thing is that Trump's own party doesn't have the balls to stand against his idiocy.

How did I insult him, Troy? All I did was repeat what he himself said.
